Integrated Systems Resources

About

Integrated Systems resources support alignment across workforce, education, and partner programs to deliver coordinated services, shared data, and unified outcomes. These resources help states and local partners reduce fragmentation by integrating governance, funding, service delivery, and performance systems across partners serving jobseekers and employers.

These resources support states and local partners in designing and implementing integrated systems that align workforce, education, and related programs to improve outcomes for individuals and employers. The resources focus on integrated service delivery, funding alignment, co location, adult education pathways, and data sharing structures that reduce fragmentation across systems.

Integrated Service Delivery Toolkit provides frameworks and practical guidance for coordinating services across workforce partners to improve customer experience and streamline service delivery.

Perkins V / WIOA Crosswalk Tool supports alignment of state and federally required needs assessments across career and technical education and workforce programs. This crosswalk tool is intended to support state-level discussions about and the coordination of state- and federally required needs assessments. It is meant to be an internal document.

Creating Adult PreApprenticeships offers guidance for adult education providers on designing and implementing preapprenticeship models that connect education, training, and employment systems.

Braid, Blend, or Sequence Funding: Compliance Guide outlines compliant strategies for coordinating multiple funding streams to support integrated service delivery.

Integrated Systems: Colocation and American Job Centers shares guidance and examples for colocating partners and services to improve coordinated access for jobseekers and employers.

DataSharing Tool Kit for Communities provides templates, examples, and best practices to support compliant data sharing across education, workforce, and community partners.

Understanding Data Sharing Agreements offers guidance on developing datasharing agreements, including key legal, governance, and privacy considerations.

Workforce Data Quality Initiative (WDQI) supports states in improving the quality, accessibility, and use of workforce and education data to inform decision making, support program alignment, and strengthen performance reporting across integrated systems.

Additional federal guidance and tools supporting integrated systems include Combined State Plan Guidance (Perkins & WIOA), Integrated Systems resources for WIOA Core Programs and Titles I and II, ADVANCE Integrated Education and Training Resources, and the Maximizing Performance Data Development Model.
