Business Services: Effectively Engaging Employers, Utilizing Data, and Measuring Performance

Next Level Now (NLN) Collaborative staff had the pleasure of presenting at the National Association of Development Professional’s (NAWDP) 2024 Business Services Academy in early August. The workshop topic centered around the holistic workforce system and the role of Business Service Representatives (BSR) in engaging employers and the importance of educating themselves on the future talent pipeline through comprehensive data.

The workshop attracted close to 100 individuals involved in Business Services from across the nation, and their questions throughout the presentation centered around appropriate questions to ask business leaders when approaching them on partnerships and services, how to measure individual performance as a BSR, and additional tools to assist BSRs in the overall success in the field.
